Tools for Innovation, Environment and Entrepreneurship Education –TIE3″
Poland-City of Lodz 8th to 15th January 2019
“Tools for Innovation, Environment and Entrepreneurship Education – TIE3” is a 7 days training course creating ties in environmental and sustainable development among 9 Organizations from Poland, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Romania, Germany and Belgium.
The training course aims are:
– To Tailor-make concrete tools for learning and envision impact activities aimed at boosting knowledge and entrepreneurship education in the field of environment and sustainable development
– Explore the concept of sustainable development and its different dimensions (economic, environmental, social – which are in line with the Europe 2020 priorities for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth)
– Foster the quality of youth work and its quality in line with the Agenda 2020 and 2030
– Identify factors of living well in different European regions and countries, and didactic material and examples of good practice in the field and experience of the partnership
– Share ideas and raise awareness about “green approaches” in the daily life
– Trains youth workers to understand and critically analyze environmental problems and conflicts within specific local and European contexts
– Impact our local communities with a healthier approach to sustainable development, including the creation of focused policies for our territory and countries
– Multiply the effects and benefits of the Erasmus+ Program through quality youth work.
The project is based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and the Agenda 2030, the European Commission approaches to environment and the special focus on the EXPO 2022 Łódź.

My participation at the workshop “Tools for Innovation, Environment & Entrepreneurship Education – TIE3” with Erasmus Plus in Lodz, Poland was a very valuable experience. The workshop was very well organized. Through ice-breakers, energizing activities, team projects, challenges and other activities, we were very quickly felt comfortable and helped us to get to know the other participants.
During the sessions, opinion sharing and discussions were encouraged. It was nice to see the other persons’ perspective about the different aspects of environmental sustainability that were touched during the workshop. It was amazing to interact with young people from different countries that care for the environment and a vision to make the world a better place.
The big task of the workshop that we had to implement, it was to design, as a team of 5 people, our own proposal for a project that was assigned to us after a screening activity from the previous day. The process was very challenging, but the results at the end were exceptional for all the teams.
One night were treated to a traditional Polish dinner at a restaurant located at the historical Manufaktura. The food was delicious, and it was a great opportunity to bond further in a relaxing environment with the other participants. Another noteworthy night was the intercultural evening which was full of good food from all the countries and lot of laughter.
The workshop was very inspiring for me both on the aspects of environmental sustainability as well as for the aspects of non-formal education. I will definitely adopt several methods that were used in the workshop during educational activities that I will design and deliver for young people in the future. Coming back from the workshop, I feel more conscious about environmental issues at various levels.
In general, this workshop was a fantastic experience with amazing people, and I had a great time from the beginning to the end.
Η συμμετοχή μου στο εργαστήριο “Tools for Innovation, Environment & Entrepreneurship Education – TIE3” με το Erasmus Plus στο Λοτζ της Πολωνίας ήταν μια πολύτιμη εμπειρία. Το εργαστήριο ήταν πολύ καλά οργανωμένο. Μέσα από παγοθραύστες, ενεργειακές δραστηριότητες, ομαδικές προκλήσεις και άλλες δραστηριότητες, αισθανθήκαμε άνετα και μας βοήθησαν να γνωρίσουμε τους άλλους συμμετέχοντες. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σεμιναρίων οι διοργανωτές ενθάρρυναν ιδιαίτερα την ανταλλαγή απόψεων και συζητήσεις. Ήταν όμορφο να ακούς τις απόψεις άλλων νέων σχετικά με τις διάφορες πτυχές της περιβαλλοντικής βιωσιμότητας, οι οποίες καλύφθηκαν κατά τη διάρκεια του εργαστηρίου. Η αλληλεπίδραση με νέους ανθρώπους από διαφορετικές χώρες που ενδιαφέρονται για το περιβάλλον και με όραμα να γίνει ο κόσμος ένα καλύτερο μέρος για όλους μας, ήταν μια ανεπανάληπτη εμπειρία.
Από τα μέσα του εργαστηρίου μέχρι το τέλος έπρεπε να σχεδιάσουμε, ως ομάδα 5 ατόμων, τη δική μας πρόταση για ένα έργο που μας είχε ανατεθεί από τους διοργανωτές. Οι ομάδες είχαν συνταχθεί με βάση τα προσωπικά μας οράματα – έργα που θέλουμε να υλοποιήσουμε – τα οποία γνωστοποιήθηκαν σε προηγούμενη δραστηριότητα. Η διαδικασία απαιτούσε σκληρή δουλειά, αλλά τα αποτελέσματα στο τέλος ήταν εξαιρετικά για όλες τις ομάδες.
Μια από τις νύχτες δειπνήσαμε εκτός ξενοδοχείου, σε ένα παραδοσιακό πολωνικό εστιατόριο που βρίσκεται στην ιστορική Manufaktura του Λοτζ. Η Manufactura είναι η ίδια ένα ζωντανό παράδειγμα περιβαλλοντικής βιωσιμότητας καθώς παλαιότερα ήταν εργοστάσιο κατασκευής υφασμάτων το οποίο ανακαινίστηκε. Τώρα είναι ένα μεγάλο συγκρότημα από καταστήματα και χώρους αναψυχής στο οποίο όμως διατηρείτε η ιστορική βιομηχανική αρχιτεκτονική της πόλης. Το φαγητό ήταν πολύ νόστιμο και ήταν μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία να γνωριστούμε καλύτερα μεταξύ μας σε ένα χαλαρό περιβάλλον.
Προσωπικά αυτό το εργαστήριο με ενέπνευσε τόσο για τις πτυχές της περιβαλλοντικής βιωσιμότητας, όσο και για τις πτυχές της «μη τυπικής» εκπαίδευσης. Σίγουρα θα υιοθετήσω αρκετές μεθόδους που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στο εργαστήριο σε μελλοντικές μου εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες. Επιστρέφοντας από το εργαστήριο, αισθάνομαι πιο συνειδητοποιημένη για διάφορα περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα.
Σε γενικές γραμμές, αυτό το εργαστήριο ήταν μια φανταστική εμπειρία με καταπληκτικούς ανθρώπους, και ήταν γεμάτο όμορφες και εποικοδομητικές στιγμές από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος.

Participating at “Tools for Innovation, Environment and Entrepreneurship Education –TIE3” training session was an amazing experience. 30 people with a common goal to drive the world towards sustainability.
All of the participants had a different background (engineers, architects, scientists, anthropologists, high school students etc) and therefore a different way to approach this goal. We had the chance to design our own sustainable project in small groups and each one of the members integrating their own expertise to make the project viable and successful.
The training session took place at Lodz a city in Poland and despite the fact that the city center is under construction most of the initiatives implemented aim to make Lodz more sustainable. Therefore the location of the training was a real life example of what we were being taught every day in the session.

Δηλώνοντας συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα, ανέμενα την συμμετοχή σε ένα εκπαιδευτικό
πρόγραμμα, στο οποίο θα είχα την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσω διάφορα σχετικά
workshops, δραστηριότητες και ενημέρωση σε σχέση με εργαλεία καινοτομίας και την
εφαρμογή τους σε μελέτες για αειφόρο ανάπτυξη και στην λήψη αποφάσεων σε
περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα.
Το υλικό των παρουσιάσεων καταπιανόταν κυρίως με:
- Αρχές αειφόρου σχεδιασμού και ανάπτυξης, και παραδείγματα από διάφορες χώρες.
Παρόλο που ήδη γνώριζα τις αρχές αυτές λόγω σπουδών και εργασίας, το υλικό αλλά
και τα παραδείγματα ήταν αρκετά ενδιαφέροντα
- Sustainable Development Goals, and UN Urban Agenda, το οποίο αποτελεί ένα θέμα
στο οποίο θα ήθελα να ενημερωθώ περεταίρω και έγινε σε ικανοποιητικό βαθμό.
Σε γενικές γραμμές, οφείλω να πω ότι η συμμετοχή μου με βοήθησε να δω τα θέματα αυτά
από μια διαφορετική σκοπιά, και ειδικά να ενημερωθώ για το πως αντιμετωπίζονται τα
θέματα αυτά σε άλλες χώρες και ειδικά στο Lodz. Επιπλέον, πολύ σημαντική ήταν η γνωριμία
με άλλους συμμετέχοντες από διάφορες χώρες, και η ενημέρωση για το πως
αντιμετωπίζονται τα θέματα αυτά σε άλλες χώρες.
Αυτό που μου έκανε περισσότερο εντύπωση (α) από το πρόγραμμα: το πως ο κάθε ένας, ως
μέλος μιας ομάδας, μπορεί να προσφέρει διαφορετικές ιδέες η πράγματα, ασχέτως του
υπόβαθρού του, και το πόσος κόσμος υπάρχει που σκέφτεται με γνώμονα την προστασία του
περιβάλλοντος και (β) από την πόλη και την χώρα: η τεράστια ανάπτυξη που έχουν πάρει τα
τελευταία χρόνια, κυρίως σε έργα επανά-χρησης, επαν-αξιοποίησης υφιστάμενων ή
εγκαταλελειμμένων κτιρίων ή σε έργα αειφόρου σχεδιασμού.
