On arrival training for European Solidarity Corps_Testimonials 29.11-03.12.2019
From 29th of November until 3rd of December we attended the “On arrival training” for European Solidarity Corps. In total there were 20 volunteers from different organizations.
We had a chance to exchange our previous experiences as well as ideas for future projects and collaborations, and get familiar with ESC and EVS in general.
Our trainers Aris and Iliana did a great job with the workshops they held about resolving conflicts, Cigna insurance, Youth Pass and Cypriot culture, and we even had a chance to learn some Greek! Besides that, we had free time to spent, by exploring Nicosia.
This training clarified our role in ESC and gave us a clear picture of its structure and, goals and values they aim to achieve. Also, it has been very helpful for us to meet other young people that share the same motivation and passion as we do, which helped us integrate into society better.
