NGO networking sessions
Every second Tuesday of the month there are NGO networking sessions held at the UNFICYP where different NGOs and their representatives, from both south and north part of Cyprus meet and talk about specific topics related to their work.
Since this Tuesday was on December 10th, International Human Rights Day, theme of the meeting was human rights education. NGOs whose primary focus is on human rights education presented their work, accomplishments and obstacles they face during implementation of their ideas and projects.
Goals of these meetings are sharing experiences and even collaborating with each other in the attempt of preventing and mitigating consequences of current socio-political issues.
