European Solidarity Corps Workshop by Esther Krawczyk and Lorenzo Rigo

European  Solidarity Corps workshop by young people for young people. EVS volunteers of KOKEN, Esther Krawczyk and Lorenzo Rigo, facilitated “A step forward for Solidarity”. Participants are other EVS hosted by organisations around Cyprus (OTI, Politistiko Ergastiri Ag.Omoligitwn.

The aim was to inform via non formal education methods about the new programme ESC and create a material which will be disseminated to young people. This event is under the Erasmus+ project 185 Days of memories.

The European Solidarity Corpse’s workshop took place in Semeli Hotel, Nicosia. The workshop shows the different opportunities of works, internships and studies provides by the European Solidarity Corpse website.

Also, a series of good travel habits and suggestions were exposed during the event. The workshop has been carried out in a non formal education method in order to involve all the attendants and make them free to ask about any details.

During the evaluation of the events, the participants claimed that it was an interesting occasion to discover all the different opportunities for going abroad. Since the quantities of the topics covered, they also receive a digital copy of all the materials used during the workshop.
