Marios Argyrides is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Neapolis University and a Licensed Psychologist in Cyprus. He received a PhD in 2006 in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University and an MSc in 2002 in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Alabama. He has worked as an intern at different counseling centers of universities including the University of South Alabama, Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University. He completed his Pre-Doctoral Internship at Florida State University. He has worked as an instructor at Tennessee State University and as a visiting lecturer at public and private universities in Cyprus. He is an Associate Scientist in several research teams in the USA and in COST and Erasmus+ projects in Europe as well as the Director of the Eating and Appearance Research Laboratory (EARL) at Neapolis University. He has published several articles and specialized books whilst also presenting at international conferences. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Counseling Psychology. He is also a professional member of the Cyprus Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Finally, he is the consulting psychologist of the non-profit organization MediCleft that supports patients with Cleft and Craniofacial abnormalities.
Argyro is a Lecturer in Special Education at the University of Nicosia. She pursued graduate studies at the University of Cyprus in Psychology (M.A. in 2010 and Ph.D. in 2017), where I worked as a Research Associate at the Center for Applied Neuroscience, specifically in the Learning Disabilities (LD) group. Her scholarly activity focuses οn the study of reading development and reading difficulties, with emphasis on the use of eye-tracking and EEG methodologies in the framework of neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Fella publishes her work in scientific journals and routinely presents at national and international conferences.
Antonis is a teacher, trainer and project manager the last twenty years. His areas of expertise focuses οn Primary and Adult education, EU youth policies, Non Formal Learning, youth work and project management.
