Resilience and Adaptability in Youth: Raising awareness and developing skills amidst the Covid-19 crisis.

Main goal: Improve the mental health of youth impacted by Covid-19, especially those with fewer opportunities. 

Specific objectives: 

  1. To raise awareness about the impact of Covid-19 crisis on mental health from different perspectives & in various contexts (i.e. education, workplace). 
  2. To help youth workers & youth identify and recognize mental health issues.
  3. To improve the adaptability and resilience skills of youth & youth workers.
  4. To enhance the use of non-formal methods to cope with potential mental health issues rose due to Covid-19.
  5. To improve the capacity of partner organizations to work on a European level and develop new networks.

Main activities:

  • Structured discussions (2 transnational meetings and 1 focus group with local stakeholders, in each country) to foster exchange of good practices on how to effectively cope with mental health challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Development of tools on how to effectively develop resilience and adaptability skills.
  • On-site transnational training on how to identify mental health issues.
  • On-site local workshop on how to develop resilience and adaptability skills.
