Presentation of the Project
“Create your future” is an educational project clearly aiming at disseminating certain skills and awareness about Youth Work among the members of the Youth Clubs.
Young people can always be a valuable part of an organization; especially when it comes to new ideas and practices. Through this program the volunteers will have the chance to be involved with young people from urban and rural areas as well as learning more about our organization and its actions. They are going to offer their knowledge and experience making and give a hand wherever is needed. At the same time they will improve their personal and professional skills.
Mentorship
Symeon Symeou is the volunteers’ mentor and supports them when they feel like talking to somebody about their EVS programme and life in Cyprus. We would like to thank Symeon for his willingness to assist us on a voluntary basis on this project as well; since he was the mentor on our previous project as well.

Main Activities
The volunteers will support local volunteers who are familiar with the specific local needs, such as youth leaders and young volunteers. Volunteers will gather European documentation and will produce informational material about the EVS Project.
They will also support the European Projects Manager in certain tasks as communication, events, implementation of educational programs, helping youth clubs in partners search, facilitating events, promoting Erasmus+, promoting the EU values, key priorities and opportunities.
Furthermore we also encourage our volunteers to create a personal project that suits their individual skills and experiences .There are no requirements given by us – the volunteers have the opportunity to choose the topic of their project freely.
In addition, a blog is created where the volunteers will describe their experiences and which they will be able to present and share to the local volunteers along with some information about their country and culture. They are also encourage to be active on other social media platforms (such as Instagram and Facebook) in order to promote their EVS project to the public.
