COVID19 prevention recommendations

As a young person, you are unlikely to have severe consequences with the disease, but even if you are asymptomatic, you can play a role in transmitting the infection to high-risk groups.

You are essential in controlling the infection, don’t forget!

Since there is still no cure for COVID19 and there can be transmission even without a person “feeling sick” it is important to prevent infection for this 5 general measures recommended by

DGS must be followed

Maintain physical distance and avoid concentration of people.

Increase the frequency of hand hygiene and comply with the respiratory label.

Reinforce the cleaning and sanitation of spaces.

Use a mask in closed spaces with multiple people.

Avoid leaving home if you have signs or symptoms of COVID19.

COVID19 prevention recommendations

Activities that involve a greater number of people than the current legislation should not be

carried out. Thus, the events to avoid are: dinners indoors or parties with a large number of

people.

Recommendations for the first fifteen days after arriving in Portugal:

– intention to travel outside the city of Viana do Castelo – inform the person responsible for

the department / activity,, of the destination of the trip, means of transport to be used. This

recommendation continues throughout the project and for the duration of the COVID19

pandemic;

– during the first 15 days the volunteer must be in “voluntary quarantine” or do the test for

COVID19;

– AJD will provide logistical support if needed.
